Outline

  1. Week 1. Choose two monologues from the library. One comedy, one drama. Read each aloud three times.
  2. Week 2. Break down objective, obstacle, and tactics. Mark every beat change in the text.
  3. Week 3. Stage it. Decide where the other person is. Decide what changes in you by the end.
  4. Week 4. Self-tape both pieces. Watch them back with the sound off. Then with the picture off.
